Story
We are raising funds for our dear friend, CJ Lewis. CJ was diagnosed with a very rare, very aggressive form of cancer. He is stage 4 and they’re still not totally sure what it is. He has been to MD Anderson in Houston and is doing aggressive chemotherapy in Johnson City, TN, under MD Anderson’s guidance. He has a long road to go, but we know that there are two things we can do to help him: pray constantly and relieve some of the financial burdens he will have to bear as he walks this journey.
A little bit about CJ. He has been with the Virginia State Police for 15 years, including 10 years as a trooper, 7 years on the tact team and 5 years as a special agent in criminal investigations. He loves riding his Harley, playing pool, and spending time with his family and friends. He has two beautiful young children, Harper and Cole, a devoted partner, Ashley, and a large family who love him dearly.
So what can you do to help? Trips to Houston aren’t cheap. In addition to that, short- and long-term disability – which he will have to be on due to the brutal side effects of the chemo treatments and surgery to be done in the next 2-3 months – will not cover his bills. Raising funds to help him is just one small way we can ease the financial burden. Will you help? Whatever you can contribute, no matter how small, will mean so much to him. Thank you for supporting CJ during this fight!
